Against the backdrop of accelerating global population aging and the flourishing development of digital health technology, the deep integration of medical rehabilitation engineering and smart healthcare is becoming the core engine for improving the health level of the entire population and promoting the transformation of the medical industry. How to empower rehabilitation medicine practice with engineering technology and reshape the medical and health service model with artificial intelligence in response to strategic needs such as rehabilitation assistance technology, intelligent diagnosis and treatment systems, and full life cycle health management has become a focal point of concern for the global academic, clinical, and industrial communities.
To promote theoretical breakthroughs, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in this field, the 2026 International Conference on Medical Rehabilitation Engineering and Smart Healthcare (MRESH 2026) will focus on core topics such as rehabilitation medicine engineering, smart healthcare technology, sports rehabilitation and health management, and cross cutting frontiers. It will provide a high-level international exchange platform for scholars, physicians, and engineers in rehabilitation engineering, clinical medicine, artificial intelligence, and related fields worldwide.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to International_tech@163.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
