About IHESD 2026/简介
The International Conference on Hydraulic Engineering, Hydraulic Structures, and Seismic Design (IHESD 2026) will be held in Shenyang, China, in 2026. This conference will bring together experts, scholars, and technical professionals from universities, research institutions, and the engineering field worldwide to address cutting-edge topics such as safe operation and maintenance of hydraulic engineering projects, performance analysis of hydraulic structures, seismic and disaster prevention theories, and their engineering applications, thereby establishing a high-level international academic exchange platform. The conference aims to share the latest research advancements in the field of seismic resistance for hydraulic engineering, explore key technical challenges in hydraulic infrastructure under complex geological and seismic conditions, foster cross-national academic exchanges and cooperation in areas such as digital and intelligent simulation, safety assessment, and disaster prevention and mitigation, promote innovative technologies in seismic resistance for hydraulic engineering projects, and enhance engineering safety assurance systems. We sincerely invite researchers and professionals from home and abroad to submit papers and participate in this valuable exchange event.

Submission Guidelines

提交准则

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to isubmit_paper@163.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.

Please kindly specify the subject of your submission as IHESD 2026+along with the name of the corresponding author, failing which we regret to inform you that your submission cannot be confirmed.

SCI Journal/SCI期刊出版

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.

All full paper submissions to the IHESD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of IHESD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI, CPCI, Google Scholar, CrossRef, ResearchGate, CrossRefet for indexing.
