Under the severe challenges of intensified global climate change, water scarcity, and water pollution, environmental pollution prevention and control, hydrological process research, and water resource management are becoming the core pillars to ensure water security, maintain ecological health, and promote sustainable development. Currently, over 2 billion people worldwide are facing water scarcity, and industrial and agricultural pollution continue to threaten the ecological security of water bodies. Frequent extreme hydrological events pose a severe challenge to water infrastructure.
The 4th International Conference on Environmental Pollution, Hydrology, and Water Management (EPHWM 2026) aims to build an interdisciplinary and cross-border high-end academic exchange platform, focusing on core issues such as environmental pollution and control technology, hydrological processes and water resource assessment, water management and sustainable development. It brings together experts, scholars, and policy practitioners in global environmental science, hydrology, water resource management, and related fields to explore innovative paths for ensuring water environmental security and sustainable utilization of water resources.
